AGO Interiors, the design studio of Rodman Primack and Rudy Weissenberg — creating spaces of warmth, curiosity, and enduring beauty for those who believe the feeling of "place" is of utmost importance.
"We believe every space should make you feel inspired — happier, warmer, more alive."
AGO Interiors is the studio of Rodman & Rudy — two creatives devoted to design united by a conviction that the spaces we inhabit shape who we become. Our work is personal, considered, and built to last a lifetime.
We draw from art, travel, nature, and the particular lives of the people we work with — crafting interiors that are both visually stunning and deeply liveable. Every project begins with listening.
— Rodman Primack & Rudy Weissenberg

Each fabric designed by Rodman Primack for RP Miller, an AGO Interiors sister company, was inspired by travels in Japan. His family's devotion to Japanese interiors continues to inspire all part of his practice.

Two perspectives.
One singular vision.
AGO Interiors was founded by Rodman Primack and Rudy Weissenberg — two creatives deeply enmeshed in the worlds of art, design and media whose distinct sensibilities converge into something wholly their own. Rodman brings a razor sharp eye informed by encyclopedic design knowledge and a deep passion for art and global culture. Rudy brings a collector's eye compounded with architectural precision and an instinct for warmth and use.
The interiors practice has an international footprint with a focus on collaborative relationships with architects, artists and craftspeople. The firm is included in the Architectural Digest AD100 list of the world's top design talent, Wallpaper US 300 and have had work published in T Magazine from the New York Times, W, World of Interiors, Vogue Mexico, Casa Vogue Brasil, Elle Décor Japan, Architectural Digest and Architectural Digest Spain amongst other publications. Collaboration, cultural amplification and interesting conversations are the key drivers to the practice.
Rodman's career began as a bid boy at Bid Department at Christie's, then junior designer for renowned architect Peter Marino, moving on to become Head Specialist in Latin American Art for Christie's, and then a Director of the Gagosian Gallery in Los Angeles. His impressive background in art and design led to his appointment as Executive Director and then Chairman, London of the esteemed auction house Phillips de Pury from 2004 to 2010 while continuing to pursue independent design and advisory projects. He is the former Executive Director and Chief Creative Officer of the international collectible design fair Design Miami. His passion and deep knowledge of design, craft, contemporary art and textiles influences and drives all of his projects. He is the co-founder of Mexico City based collectible design gallery AGO Projects. Rodman sits on the boards of the Tamayo Museum in Mexico City and International Folk Art Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Rudy holds a Master's Degree in Design Studies focused in Art, Design and Public Domain from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Master's Degree in Business Administration focused in Media Management from Columbia Business School. He has combined his interest in media, spending over a decade in both financial and creative roles within large media conglomerates with a passion for art & design, simultaneously curating design exhibitions and advising clients on art and collectible design. He has actively pursued a career in design and promoting some of the most celebrated contemporary designers. He is currently co-chair of the Latin American Circle of Friends of the Guggenheim Museum, New York and is a member of the GSD Dean Leadership Council, Cambridge, MA and the board of the Tamayo Museum in Mexico City.
We work with a select number of clients each year. If you're considering a project, we'd love to hear about it.
